Ready to Ride! Evelyn Hill Cycling Club Set to Host Its 3rd Annual She-Bikes Charity Event on May 18


DEERFIELD TWP. — The Evelyn Hill Cycling Club will host its third She-Bikes charity bicycle ride for women at 9 a.m. Sunday, May 18.
The ride begins and ends at Evelyn Hill Cycling, 685 Kenyon Ave., Rosenhayn. Riders will have a choice of 27-mile, 35-mile or 50-mile routes on quiet, rural roads in Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties.
The routes will be marked and road support will be provided. An after-ride party includes a free raffle. Food trucks from Julio’s on Main and FrosBite Grilling Thangs ice cream will be on site.
Proceeds from the ride benefit the Salem County Women’s Shelter. Riders are also asked to bring a personal care item for women at the shelter. To date, the ride has raised more than $8,500 for the shelter.
“This is a fun day with a great ride for a great cause – women helping women,” said club founder Barbara Kornbluh.

The Evelyn Hill Cycling Club for women has also begun its 2025 cycling season. Rides are held at 6 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays and 10 a.m. on Saturdays from the Evelyn Hill Cycling shop in Rosenhayn.
