We’re just about a month into the official summer season. Hopefully you have had an opportunity to enjoy some of Mother Nature’s warm, pleasant offerings. If time is a factor, we know a terrific way to fit more into a day. Let someone else do the meal prepping, cooking, and cleanup. Or, attend one of the upcoming events the area has to offer. The 2023 Cape May County 4-H Fair is ready to welcome everyone from Thursday, July 20 through Saturday, July 22 at the 4-H Fairgrounds!
This year’s theme is celebrating the Red, White & Blue! Families are also encouraged to enjoy the chicken barbecue, vendors, rides, entertainment, and much more.
Hours are 3-10 p.m. Thursday, and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The Cape May 4-H Grounds are located at 355 Court House-South Dennis Road, Cape May Court House. Admission is free. Visit

Shoppes at Dragon Village has a schedule ready to fill up the calendar with family fun.
It’s time to get into the holiday spirit! A Christmas in July event will be held 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 22 and 23. Event will feature art and craft vendors, food trucks, live performances and an opportunity to enjoy train rides.

St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church will host a chicken barbecue from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 22.
Meal will be dining in, or take out. The barbecue will be held rain or shine, and on a first come, first served basis. There are no pre-sales. Donation is $15.
