FREE RABIES CLINIC will be held by the Cumberland County Health Department from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Bridgeton Dog Pavilion, Mayor Aitken Drive. Facemasks must be worn at all times and maintain 6 feet of social distancing. County residents may attend any clinic. They don’t have to live in the same township in which the clinic is held. Pets must be on a leash and/or in a carrier with ventilation. Muzzles, when necessary, are also suggested. Owners must bring proof of prior rabies vaccine to receive a three-year certificate.

A UNITY DAY EVENT will take place from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 at the Bridgeton Park behind Bridgeton High School. There will be games, vendors’ tables, food trucks, music and fun for all ages. Highlights will include the Markquese Bell Day Parade and a basketball game.
