CUMBERLAND COUNTY TEEN 4-H Council and Jr. Leadership members recently learned about serving the community with a very special rescue operation. Lucky Paws Animal Assistance founder Danielle Crane, along with volunteer Stacy Woodlin, arrived back in New Jersey after a trip to Tennessee. This transport returned with 51 dogs and puppies on their way to finding a forever home. The teens assisted with unloading the pups and handing them off to their New Jersey receiving rescues, as well as cleaning bowls and crates. After a check-up and a few days to settle in, these furry friends will be available for foster homes as well as adoption. More information can be found at
luckypawsanimalassistance.org This is an ongoing project that will be conducted monthly as well as collection of gently used blankets, towels and puppy pads. Call 451-2800, ext. 3. From left: Isabella and Chantella Wansleeben, Abby and Emma Cohen, Donna and Josie Griebau, Danielle Crane.
