LET’S CREATE ART children’s class for ages 7-12 with Linda Robinson will be held 4:30-6 p.m. Thursdays, April 4, 11 and 18 at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts in Millville, 22 N. High St. Cost is $50 for three weeks. Students will be exposed to a variety of materials, artists and inspirations to create original art. They will have an opportunity to draw, paint and have a fun art experience. Call 327-4500.

WHEATONARTS has announced a lineup of classes and workshops that range from glassmaking, to pottery, to basket weaving. There will also be multi-session classes and single-day workshops. The classes are designed to accommodate various ages, skill levels and schedules. Schedule is:

The classes will teach the fundamentals of creating kiln-formed fused glass panels or the copper foil technique with cut glass to form stained glass designs. Classes are designed for ages 16 and older.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER that the WheatonArts campus closes to the public for daily visitors during the winter months of January, February, and March. The WheatonArts campus will reopen fully for the new creative season on Thursday, April 4.

SAVE THE DATE of Wednesday, April 17 for the Celebrating the Arts and the Glasstown Arts District event. It will be held 6-9 p.m. at the Levoy Theatre, 126 N. High St. There will be refreshments, music, memories and momentos.

PAINTING WITH SOFT PASTEL will be hosted 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, May 10 at the Riverfront Renaissance Center for the Arts, 22 N. High St., Millville. Instruction will be given by Renee Leopardi. Cost is $40 per person. The focus for the one-day workshop will be painting a landscape using soft pastel. The class will learn mark making and composition, how to start the painting (underpainting varieties) as well as finishing touches. Supply list is available upon request, or pay an additional $15 materials fee. All levels welcome. Call 327-4500.

RIVERFRONT RENAISSANCE for the Arts in Millville will host its next 3rd Friday event from 6 to 8 p.m. March 15. Live music will be performed by Trainwreck.
The Main Gallery will be home to the Associate Artist Show I and will feature more than 40 South Jersey artists. Awards for two co-winners and three to four honorable mentions will be announced at 7 p.m.
The Witt Gallery will showcase Sydnei SmithJordan: “Misfits & Weirdos.” This solo exhibit fills the gallery with unique portraits by Cape May artist SmithJordan. The subjects are a wide variety of individuals that have been a part of her life in some way
The Associate Artist Alcove will display works by Dawn Kohansky and Paula Pagliughi. Kohansky focuses on florals and scenic work, and Pagliughi focuses on landscapes and seascapes.
And, the Atrium Gallery will see “Non-Human”: Any Creature That Is Not Human.

SALEM COUNTY ART TOUR, formerly the Salem County Arts in Bloom, is slated for Saturday and Sunday, May 18 and 19 around Salem County. The tour is celebrating its 16th year of presenting a juried art event. The tour will feature more than 40 artists who will share their creative processes. The tour will be held 10 a.m.-5 p.m. May 18 and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 19. For more information visit www.salemcountyarttour.com

PYSANKY PAINTING will be hosted by WheatonArts via two introduction classes. Class will be held Thursday, April 11 (March 28 RSVP deadline) and July 25 (July 11 RSVP deadline). Participants can explore the art, symbolism, and joy in creating pysanky, the Ukrainian tradition of decorating real eggshells. Classes are for ages 16 and above.
