The Citizens’ Campaign is pleased to announce that the South Jersey Call to Service Summit has been rescheduled for 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 16 at Stockton College. More than 350 South Jersey residents had registered for the previous summit, the campaign expects the new date to draw even more participants. The South Jersey Call to Service Summit will include an opportunity for attendees to learn insider tips and gain the political know-how to advance a series of local cost-cutting proposals in their hometowns. The Citizens’ Campaign has developed ten model proposals that result in significant savings in local government. The Summit will showcase the 10 cost-cutting proposals, and provide attendees with the necessary tools to see them adopted in their town. This event is part of the Citizens’ Campaign “Jersey Call to Service,” a statewide movement to inspire citizens to participate in the leadership of their communities and reverse the tide of government waste and corruption.
