Mainland Reg. H.S. Grad Returns Home After Service

Army National Guard 1st Lt. Carolina A. Kelley is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraqi or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.

The soldiers return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.

The first lieutenant served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Iraq Theater of Operations.

Kelley, an assistant battalion intelligence officer, is assigned to Headquarters, 2nd Battalion, 104th General Support Aviation Battalion, Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville, Pa. She has served in the military for five years.

She is the daughter of Daniel M. Kelley of Mays Landing. and Ana M. Ramirez of LinwoodJ.

In 2002, she graduated from Mainland Regional High School, Linwood, and received a bachelor's degree in 2007 from Temple University, Philadelphia, Pa.
