MILLVILLE — Snow Brothers by Karyn Violet Brown was given the Holly City Diamond Award-Grand Prize Overall by the judges of the city’s 2010 Winter Photo Contest. The picture shows two young, rambunctious boys covered in snow after a sled run at Waltman Park.

Best Depiction of Winter in the Holly City was the required theme of all photos. The photo had to be a person, place or object in the city of Millville. Winning photos will be on display at 129 High St. for the month of March.

“Mother Nature provided everyone a good bit of snow for some exceptional shots,” said Mayor Tim Shannon.

Winter’s Embrace Award: Winter’s Guiding Light by Colleen M. Hand;

Holly City Award: I’ll Be Home, If Only in my Dreams by Romilda Haiduck;
