With the 2010 Census around the corner, we are calling on all of our tribal members to stand up and be counted.

Please plan to come out to the meeting 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 or to the senior luncheon on Tuesday, March 16.

AN ART contest to promote the Census through our youth is being sponsored by the National Congress of American Indians.

The competition is open to all American Indian, Alaska Native and Native Hawaiian students enrolled in pre-K through post- secondary level.

All entries should relate to the theme, 2010 Census: Our People. Our Nations. Our Future. The entries should reflect the promise and importance of being counted in the 2010 Census for Native youth.

For complete information on this contest, visit the website indiancountrycounts.org/artcompetition

Come on out to this year’s annual Valentine’s dinner & dance fundraiser at the Marino Ballroom from 7 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, Feb. 13.

Tickets are available for $25 per person. There will be a DJ for dancing and a buffet dinner will be served.

If you’re interested in tickets, call our center at 455-6910 and one of the ladies there will be able to help you.

ON YOUR prayer lists, please include:

Georgette Wright, Louvica Gould, Willy Pierce, Melvin Pierce, Debbie Pierce, Jasmine Thomas, Ben Pierce, Marguerite Harmon, ,

Also, Billy Ridgway, Elizabeth Edwards, Arlene Ridgway, Rose Marie Sweetsie Ridgeway, Mildred Sister Jackson, Bill Lockman;
