Joshua Pineda, a junior from Vineland High School took first-place at the New Jersey Weightlifting Championships that were recently held in Moorestown. He was able to secure the first-place finish by cleaning and jerking 220 pounds in the 62 kg weight class. Pineda is now seeking to compete in the Junior Nationals being held at Miami, Fla. in February of 2015.
