The federally funded Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program gives each participant a total of $20 to purchase Jersey Fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs from authorized farmers. The program is administered locally by the Cumberland County Office on Aging and Disabled.
Vouchers will be distributed at 13 locations throughout the county on specific dates during the month of July.
Vouchers are available to Cumberland County residents, ages 60 & older who meet income guidelines based on household size.
Income guidelines for a single individual are $1,800 monthly or $21,590 yearly. Income guidelines for a married couple are $2,426 monthly or $29,101 yearly. There are additional income guidelines for household sizes of 3 or more. Proof of residence is required and income verification should be presented. Four $5 vouchers - $20 total - will be given to each eligible person to be used at participating farmers’ markets. Distribution times and sites are:

•Downe Township Senior Center, 288 Main St., Newport: 10 a.m.-noon Friday, July 11
•Deerfield Township Senior Center, 736 Landis Ave., Rosenhayn: 9 a.m.-noon Monday, July 14
•Maurice River Township Senior Center, 590 Main St., Leesburg, 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday, July 15
•Edgar Joyce Senior Center, 1323 Highway 77, Seabrook: 10 a.m.-noon Wednesday, July 16
•Bridgeton Outreach Office, 800 E. Commerce St., Bridgeton, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
•Millville Outreach Office, 1500 S. 2nd St., Millville, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Mondays and Fridays
•Vineland Senior Center, 6th & Elmer streets, Vineland, 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
