Kudos…Michelle Villar a Vineland High School South biology teacher and a master’s degree student in the Global Field Program from Miami University’s Project Dragonfly, will travel to Baja, Calif. this month to study field methods in desert and marine ecosystems.

 Villar has 17 years experience teaching biology, zoology and marine science. In addition to her classroom duties, she is co-advisor of the Students Helping Plants Animals and the Environment (SHAPE) club and is supervisor of the school's butterfly garden with her biology class, SHAPE club and other volunteering students.

Project Dragonfly's GFP is a Miami University master's degree program that combines field work at conservation and education hotspots globally with collaborative work in web-based learning communities.
