SABATER Elementary School students swept all three top places in the recent American Legion Post #4 American Heroes Remembered coloring contest to honor our veterans. The contest was open to Vineland students in grades 4 and 5. The winners, all grade 5 students, were: Lynda Bonilla, 1st place; Steven Centeno, 2nd place; and Arelis Emiliano Villegas, 3rd place. In a brief presentation at the school, the students received a medal from the veterans for their efforts at depicting the countries of Vietnam and Korea. Bonilla will now advance to the Cumberland County competition. The county winner will go on to compete at the state level.
