The National Alliance on Mental Illness Cumberland County Chapter will hold its monthly meeting 7-9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 at Chestnut Assembly of God, 2554 E. Chestnut Ave. Trained navigators for the Affordable Care Act (also known as Obamacare) from the Center for Family Services will explain key parts of the legislation, including its impact on behavioral health services. Chapter meetings take place on the third Monday of each month, throughout the year, at that time and location. NAMI Cumberland County is a support, education, and advocacy group serving consumers of mental health services, as well as the families and friends of persons affected by a serious mental illness.
