The office of Workforce Education at Cumberland County College offers non-credit computer courses that can help people hone their skills or tackle new challenges. • The Most Elementary Computer Course I: This beginner’s class introduces students to the computer and helps them become comfortable with the Windows environment, the mouse and keyboard. Course includes hands-on practice and introduces print programs, integrated software packages, CD-ROM programs and other basic applications. Class meets for four sessions, 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays, beginning March 2. Cost is $49. • The Most Elementary Computer Course II: Learn to save and organize files and folders, write and print basic word processing documents and become familiar with spreadsheets and presentations. Discover how to open and send e-mails, save and upload photos as attachments and learn the best Internet browsing techniques. Class meets for four sessions, 9 a.m.-noon Saturdays, beginning April 6.
