Salem Community College will host information sessions on a six-week program that prepares individuals to work in manufacturing jobs. The program focuses on skills needed to work in a manufacturing environment through hands-on learning and theory. At the conclusion, participants take exams to become nationally certified. Offered through the Cumberland-Salem Workforce Investment Board, the program is free to qualified individuals. Participants must be unemployed, hold a high school diploma or GED, and have reliable transportation. Free information sessions will be held at the Salem Center, 174 E.
